I promised Vanyel some portraits of her for her 14th birthday, so we made a little trip to Calico Basin area near Red Rock just outside of Las Vegas. There is a wonderful Meadow park out there complete with boardwalk. Very picturesque and so is she! 
Here is an Artsy Fartsy rendering of a little girl I captured on a family portrait shoot recently out at Nelson, Nevada. She and her big sister were so cute and sweet and both were wearing vintage looking dress’s. I applied a new filter that I tried and was amazed at the result here. Let me know what you think! BTW- My new Bio picture up there is me at that actual Nelson shoot. Nelson is a neat old mining town with lots of character!

For now, how about a quickie… Here’s a picture of my girlfriend on Valentines day with a before and after a little work in Photoshop. Please disregard the fact that the lighting is bad, I was testing out a brand new camera right out of the box, turned and click. I didn’t have proper lighting set up at the time, but she looks so pretty I had to try something.

Shot these for Tina’s new Personal Training business and her cards. BTW – she works with me at our REAL job. We only used 2 pics for the card, but they turned out great! She’s told me that she wants to compete and that in about 6 months we will shoot again to show off her competition physique.
